Students get creative to end violence in New Orleans

“Students from 5th-through-8th grades at KIPP Believe College Prep, KIPP Central City Academy, KIPP Leadership Academy, KIPP McDonogh 15 Middle School and Lafayette Academy each presented a plan they thought would best help reduce violence. It included everything from technology to using money from the $40,000,000 citywide safety plan to help provide summer jobs.”

The $40 million should go to jobs for youth – not to Landrieu’s surveillance plan ! The youth know.
